Supporting a greatest hits collection called Decade Of Drive, Emerson Drive’s “Decade and Driving Tour” plays six British Columbia stops, six Alberta gigs, five shows in Saskatchewan, nine in Ontario, two in Nova Scotia, three in New Brunswick, one on Prince Edward Island and one in Manitoba.

All that’s missing is a show in Quebec, but there’s still plenty of time for additions before the tour kicks off Feb. 8 in Victoria, B.C., at the McPherson Playhouse.

Other stops include Medicine Hat, AB, at the Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre Feb. 12; Saskatoon, SK, at the Broadway Theatre Feb. 16; Ottawa at the Centrepointe Theatre March 21 and Saint John, NB, at the Imperial Theatre April 1.

Decade Of Drive drops the first day of the tour, marking Emerson Drive’s first greatest hits release. A deluxe version featuring enhanced video content, a specially recorded new song, previously unreleased acoustic songs and interview footage will also be available.

“This tour is a celebration and a thank you to our fans,” Emerson Drive lead singer Brad Mates said. “We have spent 10 years out on the road sharing our music across North America. We can’t wait to take the party back out on the road. It’s exciting for us to show what we accomplished so far and give fans a look at the next decade. We have new music that just adds to the fun.

But the first step to joining Mates and his Emerson Drive cohorts in all that fun is to buy a ticket when all shows for the run through Canada go on sale Dec. 3. For more information, click here for the Emerson Drive website.
