Rush Announces North America Dates

The Time Machine Tour returns in 2011, with Rush announcing a new North America run beginning in Florida.

Like Rush’s summer 2010 touring, the band will perform its 1981 release, Moving Pictures, in its entirety.

Billed as “An Evening With Rush,” the first new North American date is March 30 in Sunrise, Fla., at the BankAtlantic Center. Next up is North Carolina’s Greensboro Coliseum April 1 followed by Nashville at the Bridgestone Center April 3; Louisville at the KFC Yum! Center April 5; Toledo at the Huntington Center April 6 and Hershey at the Giant Center April 8.

Other stops include New York at MSG April 10; Chicago at United Center April 12; Detroit (Auburn Hills) at the Palace Of Auburn Hills April 17; Montreal at the Bell Centre April 20 and Baltimore at 1st Mariner Arena April 22.

Tickets for Hershey, Detroit and Baltimore go up Dec. 6 with other markets going on sale by the end of that week. To help with Haiti earthquake relief efforts, one dollar of each ticket sold will be donated to one of several charities, including Doctors Without Borders.
