Buddy Lee Acquires Metro Talent Group

Buddy Lee Attractions announced Nov. 30 it has acquired Metro Talent Group with MTG founder/owner Cass Scripps becoming an agent for the company.

Scripps brings Corey Smith, David Ryan Harris, Drivin N’ Cryin, Edwin McCain and Kevn Kinney. MTG was based in Atlanta. Scripps will split his time between Atlanta and Nashville for about six months before completing the transition to Music City.

“I have weighed several options during my 20-plus-year career and after working with Kevin [Neal of Buddy Lee] and members of the BLA team, it was clear that BLA had something special to offer,” Scripps said. “My artists, managers and I are thrilled to join the BLA team and I am excited to begin a new chapter in my career.”
