Cold War Kids On The Move

Cold War Kids will be supporting their new album, Mine Is Yours, scheduled to be released on Downtown Records Jan. 25.

The tour follows only a few weeks later in Portland, Ore., at the McMenamins Crystal Ballroom March 3 followed by a show at Eugene’s WOW Hall March 4 and Denver at the Ogden Theatre March 8.

Other stops include Minneapolis (March 10), Chicago (March 11), Detroit (March 17), Toronto (March 18), Boston (March 22), New York (March 24), Houston (March 31) and Dallas (April 2) before wrapping in Oakland at Fox Theatre April 9.

The band is also offering fans a special opportunity when it plays Jack White’s Nashville record store / venue, Third Man Records, Dec. 12 where the band will record its performance directly to analog tape, resulting in a vinyl-only release scheduled for a later date. Making the gig even more special is a limited edition black and blue split-colored LP of the performance that audience members can purchase immediately after the show.

Cold War Kids have yet a few more 2010 dates to play, beginning with a stop in Charlottesville, Va., at the Jefferson Theater Dec. 2. For more information, click here for the band’s website.
