A Different Kind Of The Wall
Movie producer Andy Harries is reportedly planning a movie based on Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick In The Wall” that will tell the story of the school kids who sang on the 1979 track and their music teacher, Alan Renshaw.
Renshaw reportedly lost his job at a north London public school for allowing his class to sing the anti-education, anti-authority lyrics, according to Deadline Hollywood.
Harries described his take on the subject as “Dead Poets Society” meets “School of Rock,” the website said.
However, Harries has yet to secure the rights to use the song from Roger Waters and Pink Floyd, so a start date is up in the air.
