Stage AE Opens With PromoWest

Stage AE, the indoor/outdoor music venue adjacent to Heinz Field and PNC Park in downtown Pittsburgh, opened Nov. 28 with a two-night stand by hometown artist Girl Talk.

The venue is the first outside of central Ohio to be managed by Columbus-based PromoWest Productions.

The $12 million venue can seat some 2,400 inside and 5,500 for outdoor shows. A 400-capacity club will be attached to the building.

PromoWest President Scott Stienecker told the Columbus Dispatch that he expects to book about 100 events at Stage AE in its first year of operation.
