Swift Sellouts
How fast are tickets for Taylor Swift’s upcoming “Speak Now” tour selling? Let’s put it this way. Selling them any faster would probably violate the laws of physics.
The first 10 shows on Swift’s tour sold out within minutes last week. However, what’s really remarkable when you consider today’s economy is that one stadium date sold out as fast as any arena gig.
For example, Swift’s June 25 date in Foxboro, Mass., at Gillette Stadium sold out within five minutes, according to her PR machine which also said the country star moved plenty of tickets in Southern California, taking only two minutes to sell out two shows in Los Angeles at the Staples Center scheduled for Aug. 23-24.
You can probably guess what all this is leading up to. Additional shows, like June 26 at Gillette Stadium and Aug. 27-28 at Staples.
