Produced by Avett Brothers Scott and Seth, Fixin’ To Die, on Brushfire Records, lands in stores Feb. 22.

The new album features G. Love serving up a variety of tunes, including his own original songs plus rearranged traditional tunes. It’s a stripped-down no frills album featuring musicians doing what they love – playing music.

The tour begins at Nashville’s Exit / In March 1 followed by a stop in Greenville, S.C., at the Handlebar March 2 and Charleston, S.C., at the Music Farm March 3. Other towns on the routing include Norfolk, Va. (March 5), Jacksonville, Fla. (March 10), New Orleans (March 16), Dallas (March 19), Little Rock, Ark. (March 23), Austin (March 25) and Houston (March 26).

In addition to the March 25 Austin date, G. Love will play the city’s SXSW festival in mid-March, time and location to be announced.

The artist is also offering a free download of the title track to Fixin’ To Die via his website. Click here for more info.
