Crossville, Tenn., officials reportedly are facing a potential lawsuit for rejecting an Aug. 11 naming rights agreement with Spirit Broadband for a new downtown amphitheatre currently under construction.
The Crossville Chronicle reported Dec. 3 that commissioners claim the five-year agreement negotiated between former Cumberland County Mayor Brock Hill and Spirit Broadband Director Vince King wasn’t entered into legally.
King, however, denies the allegation, saying his company has already invested more than $30,000 in the shed and will sue the city if it doesn’t honor the naming rights agreement.
