Furthur Looks Forward To 2011

Fans who didn’t snag tickets to Furthur’s New Year’s Eve show won’t have to wait too much longer to see former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh rock out. The group has announced two months of U.S. spring dates.

Weir and Lesh formed Furthur in 2009 after touring with original Grateful Dead members Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart along with guitarist Warren Haynes and RatDog keyboardist Jeff Chimenti as The Dead.

In addition to Weir and Lesh, Further features Chimenti, John Kadlecik of the Dark Star Orchestra on guitar, Joe Russo of the Benevento Russo Duo on drums, vocalist Sunshine Becker, and vocalist Jeff Pehrson.
