The Jackson & Jack Show

Wanda Jackson is celebrating the release of her new album with special shows in New York and Los Angeles where she’ll be backed by a house band led by Jack White. Details inside.

Jackson’s new album, The Party Ain’t Over, is scheduled to drop January 25 via Third Man / Nonesuch Records. Produced by Third Man founder White, the album features 11 tracks ranging from the early 1900s to 2007. For the recording sessions, Jackson was backed by a band featuring such folks as Jack Lawrence (The Dead Weather / Raconteurs), Patrick Keeler (Raconteurs), Carl Broemel (My Morning Jacket), Ashley Monroe, Jackson Smith and Karen Elson.

The shows where Jackson will be backed by the “Third Man House Band feat. Jack White” are Jan. 21 in Brooklyn at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg and Jan. 23 in Los Angeles at the El Rey Theatre.

A pre-sale for for Third man Records’ Vault subscribers begins Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. and the public onsale launches Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. All times eastern.
