Bright Eyes Goes Nationwide

At first, Bright Eyes only had shows in London and New York to support the release of its new album. That is, until today when the group announced its North America tour.

Bright Eyes is touring in support of its seventh studio album, The People’s Key, scheduled for a February 15 release on Saddle Creek.

With Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nathaniel Walcott forming the core of Bright Eyes and accompanied by outside musicians to form a seven-person ensemble, the tour begins in Miami at the Fillmore Miami Beach @ The Jackie Gleason Theatre March 2. Other dates include Orlando (Lake Buena Vista) at House of Blues March 3; Atlanta’s Tabernacle March 4 and Asheville, N.C., at the Thomas Wolf Auditorium March 5.

Other stops include Boston (March 10), Portland, Maine (March 11), Toronto (March 13), Royal Oak, Mich. (March 14), Chicago (March 15) and Nashville (March 17).

The previously announced March 9 NYC show at Radio City Music Hall is sold-out, prompting Bright Eyes to add a second show, March 8.

Pre-sales for select shows begin Dec. 14 and public onsales launch Dec. 17. Oberst’s website is the place for more information. Just click here.
