Rock Hall Inductees

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame isn’t scheduled to announce its list of 2011 inductees until tomorrow, but somebody has already let the cat out of the bag.

Neil Diamond, Alice Cooper, Tom Waits, Dr. John and Darlene Love are reported to be among the new inductees, according to the New York Times, which notes the list of folks not making the cut – Bon Jovi, Donovan, Laura Nyro, Joe Tex and Chuck Willis – says as much about the Rock Hall as does the list of folks it will honor for all eternity.

Of course, fans of KISS and Rush will continue to point out that neither band has been honored by the Hall. And judging by who the Hall of Fame chooses versus who it ignores, we’re guessing those fans will still have something to complain about next year.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is scheduled to present its official dog-and-pony moment announcing inductees tomorrow morning at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time and the induction ceremony is scheduled for March 14 at New York City’s Waldorf-Astoria.
