Party At Home With Phish This New Year’s

Phish’s New Year’s shows are all sold out but that doesn’t mean fans that don’t have tickets can’t ring in 2011 with their favorite band. The group has announced a live pay-per-view webcast to allow fans at home to join in on the fun.

The shows take place Dec. 30-Jan.1 at Madison Square Garden Arena in New York.

Phish is taking pre-orders for the webcasts now through the band’s website.

Hardcore fans can purchase a three-night pass for $39.99. Individual nights are also available. The Dec. 31 webcast will set you back $19.99. The Dec. 30 and Jan. 1 webcasts are priced at $14.99 each.

Fans will also have the option to buy CDs, MP3s and FLACs of each show.

The band has set up a test video through LivePhish.com to allow fans to make sure their computers are compatible with the live-stream. As a bonus, fans can check out a bit of unreleased video during the test. The video will feature footage from Phish’s Aug. 15 show at Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wis.

Before hitting up MSG, Phish will perform two nights Dec. 27-28 at DCU Center in Worcester, Mass.
