As one of Pollstar’s Top 50 North American Tours of the past year, Sugarland’s “Incredible Machine” outing offered plenty of bang for the entertainment buck in 2010. Sporting an average ticket price of $40 the group offered a great evening out at a reasonable price, making for a concert economics philosophy we can only hope more acts will adapt.

Although venues have yet to be named, Pollstar has seen the tour’s routing which begins with Sugarland’s previously announced gig at the March 3 at the city’s Reliant Stadium.

After Houston the tour hits all the cities you’d expect a multi-platinum, award-winning country group to play, including North Little Rock (March 4), Jacksonville, Fla. (March 12), Sioux City, Iowa (March 19), Tuscaloosa, Ala. (April 15), Chicago (May 6), Minneapolis (May 7), Cleveland (May 13) and Pittsburgh (May 15).

But the above cities offer only a glimpse of Sugarland’s 2011 concert plans as the tour covers North America including two nights in Los Angeles (July 25-26) as well as single evenings in Boston, San Antonio, Detroit, San Diego, Omaha, Indianapolis, Denver, Las Vegas, St. Louis, Orlando, Atlanta and just about every town where folks are crazy for great music, entertainment and fun.

Joining Sugarland in select cities will be guests Sara Bareilles, Little Big Town and Matt Nathanson.

Venues and ticket information will be announced soon. In the meantime, we have a few links for you. Click here for Sugarland’s website, here for the group’s Facebook page, here for Twitter, here for MySpace and here for Sugarland’s home on Apple’s new social networking environment Ping.
