MSG Security Settlement

More than 300 security officers employed by Madison Square Garden will receive $1.3 million under a settlement agreement filed in federal court Jan. 3.

The settlement will bring to an end a class action lawsuit filed in 2009 by four security officers claiming that since 2003 Madison Square Garden willfully failed to pay its security officers time-and-a-half for all the overtime they worked.
