Second Dylan Bluesfest Set

Bluesfest has been granted a one-off permission to run for six days this Easter instead of the usual five.

The additional day, Tuesday following Easter, will allow Bob Dylan to play a second set at the festival in Byron Bay.

Bluesfest head Peter Noble threatened to sue the local Byron council when it initially dragged its feet, saying it would not make a decision until February. By then, Noble said, Dylan might have made alternate plans. Six of seven councilors voted for the extension.
