Flu Sidelines Santana, Flooding Stops Kasey Chambers
Word coming out of Vegas is that tonight’s “Supernatural Santana: A Trip Through The Hits” will not be rescheduled and that ticketholders are encouraged to attend one of the weekend shows scheduled for Jan. 14-16. As an added enticement, ticketholders are being offered a 15 percent discount. If the weekend doesn’t work for you, refunds are available at points of purchase.
“It is unfortunate that we needed to cancel tonight’s show which is our first cancellation in 40 years,” Santana rep Michael Vrionis said. “Carlos thanks his fans for their understanding and well wishes and hopes to see them at this weekend’s performances.”

Flooding has resulted in Australian country goddess Kasey Chambers postponing her March dates in the continent’s northeastern Queensland state, which includes Brisbane. Chambers joined in a telethon benefiting flood victims that aired Jan. 7 in Australia.
“My heart goes out to you all,” Chambers said. “I can’t imagine what you guys are going through and I was very happy to be a part of the telethon on Sunday night. I can assure you that is just the start of our industry contributing to your recovery. All you guys in Queensland have supported us for a long, long time, so now its time for us to support you. We have all been closely watching the TV and seeing the devastation. We are all feeling for you.”
Tickets for the Queensland shows will be honored on the rescheduled dates that, so far, have not been nailed down. Refunds are available at points of purchase. For more information, click here for Kasey Chambers’ website.
