So far, perusing New York City-area concert listings for Jan. 12 shows more concerts still on the books than canceled or moved.

Gregg Allman’s gig originally scheduled for tonight at Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, N.J., has been moved to June 2.

Evidently predictions of a snopocalypse were enough to force The Lovin’ Spoonful to reschedule tonight’s show at the Tarrytown Music Hall in Tarrytown, N.Y., to March 12. The venue’s website notes that the show was moved “due to the predicted snow emergency.”

So far, it looks as if the Sarah McLachlan & Friends shows scheduled for tonight and tomorrow evening at New York City’s Beacon Theatre are still a go, according to the venue’s website which states it “rarely cancels or postpones events due to inclement weather.”

As the weather plays havoc with concert schedules, we need to mention that more announced dates for the affected areas may change within the next few hours. In other words, check with the venue before heading to the show.
