Kings Of Leon Reschedule London Show

Kings Of Leon has rescheduled its show at London’s The O2 a month after a tour bus fire forced the rock band to call off the performance.

The O2 – London show will now take place June 20, followed by two nights at London’s Hyde Park, June 22-23, as part of the band’s second leg of European dates.

The performance was originally scheduled to take place Dec. 21.

According to a report by BBC News, a fire on one of the band’s tour buses spread to another bus in the loading bay of the venue. About 60 firefighters were called to the scene along with ambulance crews. Six people were treated for smoke inhalation.

A statement on The O2’s website previously reported that only of the buses caught fire. Although there was no damage to the venue, the show was postponed because there was not sufficient time to rig the arena for the performance.

All original tickets will be accepted at the June 20 show. The O2 site notes that fans that are unable to attend the rescheduled date can request refunds from the original point of purchase.

Before Kings Of Leon take to the stage April 15 at this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, the band plays Australia in March followed by a few dates in South Africa. The second leg of the European tour kicks off in late May.
