Ticketfly Deal Times Two
Ticketfly is celebrating the New Year with two big new clients – Outback Concerts and Monqui Presents.
The upstart ticketing company has signed on to provide ticketing, social marketing and website hosting to the independent promoters under the agreements, which will also see Ticketfly expand into new markets.
“Welcoming Monqui and Outback, two of the biggest and best promoters in the U.S., to the Ticketfly family is a major milestone,” Ticketfly CEO Andrew Dreskin said in a statement. “Having these types of promoters choose Ticketfly highlights the desire of forward-thinking promoters to replace legacy ticketing systems with a progressive, integrated system.”
Ticketfly’s deal with the Nashville-based Outback Concerts, which sells more than one million tickets annually, will expand the company’s footprint throughout the Southeast and Canada.
And in the Northwest, Ticketfly will now issue tickets for Monqui Presents events and clients including Wonder Ballroom and the Doug Fir Lounge in Portland and Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, Ore. The move to Ticketfly is reportedly expected to reduce service charges on tickets at Les Schwab by up to 40 percent.
Tickets are currently on sale for events and shows from Outback Concerts and tickets from Monqui Presents will be available in February. Ticketfly, which rolled out in late 2009, has amassed a list of more than 100 clients around the country.
