Bowling Benefit For Charity

A very special charity event is taking place at L.A. Live the night before Pollstar Live! gets under way. Rock’n Bowl to Benefit the Bogart Fund takes place at the Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes at 7 p.m. Feb. 3, in the complex adjoining the JW Marriott conference hotel, benefiting the Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program.

The celebrity bowling tournament is followed by an afterparty tribute concert in memory of Little Feat’s Richie Hayward, who died of cancer in August.

Admission to the event is a $20-per-person, tax-deductible donation, with lane sponsorships going for $500. There will also be a $5-per-ticket raffle drawing honoring Shelley Lazar and the “We Are All VIP’s” afterparty follows from 11 p.m. until 2 a.m.

Celebrities from the music and entertainment industries will be on hand to support the Bogart Pediatric Cancer program, and members of Little Feat and Nashville recording artist Nick Nicholson will be on hand for the afterparty.

Over the years, hundreds of volunteers have worked passionately with the charity to help raise the funds to provide research for leukemia, cancer and AIDS research. The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program is headquartered at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

Tickets are reportedly going fast. To guarantee a ticket for the event, sponsorship, raffle donations or more information, please send a request to Melissa Rosen at [email protected] or 310.403.3663.
