Jackson Browne Takes Acoustic Tour To Canada

While some acts do the obligatory Canada tour consisting of one or two stops per province, Jackson Browne will spend some quality time in the Great White North as the second leg of his 2011 solo acoustic tour routes through 16 Canadian cities.

Yes, that is a lot of Canada. So far the tour includes two British Columbia towns, two Alberta stops, one night each in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland provinces and six communities in Ontario.

The new leg begins in Victoria, B.C., at Save On Foods Centre March 25, plays Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre March 26 and lands in Edmonton at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium March 28.

Other newly announced dates include Calgary (March 29), Saskatoon (March 31), Montreal (April 9) and St. John’s (April 14). Ontario stops are Thunder Bay (April 3), Toronto (April 5), Hamilton (April 6), Kingston (April 8), Ottawa (April 17) and London (April 18).

Browne’s new tour leg also includes three U.S. appearances – Ann Arbor at Michigan Theatre April 20; Grand Rapids, Mich., at Devos Hall April 21 and Hammond, Ind., at The Venue at Horseshoe Casino April 23.
