The Grove Goes City National

The Grove of Anaheim is now City National Grove of Anaheim, thanks to a naming rights deal inked between Nederlander Concerts and City National Bank, unveiled at a press conference Jan. 24.

Details of the agreement were not made public, but City National Bank is reportedly the largest Southern California-based bank.

“This new partnership is a natural result of the strong and successful relationship Nederlander has cultivated over the years with City National Bank and the City of Anaheim,” Nederlander CEO Alex Hodges said. “City National’s presence in Orange County is stellar, and we are thrilled to expand our relationships into a naming rights partnership with one of our cachet venues.”

Front Row Marketing, a subsidiary of Comcast-Spectacor, is a partner in the deal at the 1,700-capacity City National Grove, which has been exclusively operated by Nederlander Concerts since 2002.
