U.S. Tour Echoes Bunnymen’s Early Albums

Echo & The Bunnymen have announced dates for a spring North American tour featuring nightly back to back performances of the post-punk band’s debut and sophomore albums in their entirety.

The trek follows a sold-out United Kingdom tour that also featured Echo & The Bunnymen’s debut, 1980’s Crocodiles, and follow-up album, 1981’s Heaven Up Here.

The North American shows kick off May 9 at Paradise Rock Club in Boston. Dates are booked through a May 22 gig at House Of Blues in Anaheim, Calif.

Fans can also catch the band at 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., May 11; Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia May 12; Irving Plaza in New York May 13; Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto May 16; Vic Theatre in Chicago May 17; and Red Rock Casino Resort in Las Vegas May 20.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, Jan. 28.

On May 25 Echo & The Bunnymen play San Miguel Primavera Sound festival at Parc del Forum in Barcelona, Spain.
