Duran Duran To Launch World Tour In U.K.

You probably knew something was up with Duran Duran when you noticed the band on this year’s Coachella lineup. Well, sure ‘nuff, the group has a world tour coming up, starting in the U.K. this spring.

The boys – original members Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor – will be touring in support of their 2010 album All You Need Is Now. The global journey begins in Newcastle at the Metro Radio Arena May 18, plays Glasgow’s SECC May 19 and stops in Birmingham for a gig at the LG Arena May 21.

Other stops include Liverpool (May 23), London (May 28), Brighton (May 30), Bournemouth (May 31), Cardiff (June 1), Manchester (June 3) and Sheffield (June 4).
