Produced by Ethan Johns, the band’s third album – The Cold Still – was originally scheduled to be released via iTunes February 7 in the U.K. and Europe and Feb. 8 in the U.S., but a Feb. 2 appearance on “Late Show” resulted in the online music store moving the U.S. release to Feb. 1.

Consisting of Tennessee native Nathan Nicholson on vocals, Australian Todd Howe on guitar and Brits Adam Harrison (bass) and Piers Hewitt (drums), The Boxer Rebellion has a string of U.K. shows in support of the new album. Starting in Edinburgh at the Cabaret Voltaire March 3, gigs include Leeds at The Cockpit March 4; Northampton at The Roadmendor March 5; Manchester at Ruby Lounge March 6; Bristol at the Fleece March 8; Birmingham at The Institute March 9 and London at Heaven March 10.

The band announced on its website that it will tour the U.S. in April and that dates will be announced shortly. Currently the only U.S. listing for the band is a run of SXSW dates – March 16-19.
