Surgery Forces Tour Changes For Kings Of Leon

There’s sad news for Kings Of Leon fans as surgery forces the band to postpone dates scheduled for March.

The sudden change of plans is to allow drummer Nathan Followill time to recuperate from undergoing the knife for a torn right labrum and bicep. Doctors estimate it will take up to three months of rest before he can return to keeping the beat.

Affected are March tours of Australia and South Africa.

The promoter for the Australian tour – Frontier Touring – released a statement saying the shows will be rescheduled for November.  Meanwhile, Nathan Followill put out the word via Twitter.

“Sorry to all the fans in Australia and South Africa,” Followill tweeted. “My bum wing needs more time to heal but we’ll be back later this year. Sorry again.”
