More Devo For You

Devo continues to add dates, slotting shows on the West Coast and the Lone Star State.

Devo is playing a bit of catch-up resulting from last fall when a glass shard sliced guitarist Bob Mothersbaugh’s hand right down to the bone, severing a tendon and forcing the band to postpone a series of November dates.

Rescheduled for 2011 are previously announced California shows for San Francisco’s Warfield (March 18), Los Angeles at Club Nokia (March 19) and Solana Beach at the Belly Up Tavern (March 20). Of course, if you purchased tickets for Devo’s originally scheduled fall appearances at those venues, your ducats are good on the reassigned dates.

Newly added dates are Seattle at Moore Theatre March 15; Portland at McMenamins Crystal Ballroom March 16; Houston at Warehouse Live March 25 and Austin at Austin City Limits Live at Moody Theater March 27.

To make sure you’re stylishly decked out when attending one of the shows, Devo has knocked off the price of selected T-shirts at their website. According to a statement released by the band, “Operators are standing by.” Guess that mean they can’t sit down until you buy something.
