Looks as if the U.S. is last in line for Adele’s second album. Although it won’t land in American stores until Feb. 22, it’s already been released across the pond where it captured the No. 1 position in several countries including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium.

Adele will be doing the TV thing to promote the album’s release, hitting NBC’s “Today” Feb. 18; “The Late Show With David Letterman” on CBS Feb. 21; “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” Feb. 24; “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on ABC Feb. 24; CBS’ “The Early Show” Feb. 25 and E!’s “Chelsea Lately” Feb. 28.

Adele’s concert adventure in North America begins May 12 in Washington, D.C., at the 9:30 Club. Other dates include May 13 at Philadelphia’s Electric Factory; May 15 in Boston at House Of Blues; May 18 in Toronto at Kool Haus; May 19 in NYC at Beacon Theatre; May 29 in Salt Lake City at The Depot; June 1 in Seattle at Showbox At The Market and June 9 in Los Angeles at The Wiltern. The tour is expected to wrap June 20 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
