Yes Coming To U.S. Next Month

The pioneer progressive band launches its “Rite Of Spring Tour” in Texas next month.

Yes continues to travel with Benoit David who began fronting the band in 2008 when medical problems kept co-founder Jon Anderson from touring. Benoit also sang vocals on the band’s first album in 10 years, scheduled to be released on Italian-based Frontiers Records this summer.

Along with Benoit, the lineup consists of bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe, drummer Alan White and Rick Wakeman’s son Oliver on keyboards.

The tour begins in Houston at House Of Blues March 6, plays Dallas at House Of Blues March 7 and stops in New Orleans for a gig at, you guessed it, House Of Blues March 9.

In fact, Yes, is playing quite a few HOBs on this tour, including Chicago House Of Blues March 18-19 and Cleveland’s HOB March 22.

“We’re tremendously excited to be working with Yes on this incredible tour through so many of our House Of Blues and other theaters,” HOB Talent’s Michael Yerke said in a statement announcing the tour. “House Of Blues is all about bringing music, artists and fans together in great venues. These concerts will be memorable and absolutely deliver on that promise.”
