Josh Groban Announces World Tour

Promising he’ll perform all over the world, multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban announces three dates. No, that’s not a typo.

Groban announced the global tour, christened “Straight To You,” this morning on NBC’s “Today Show.” The tour is in support of Groban’s latest mega-selling disc, the Rick Rubin-produced Illuminations.

But this morning’s appearance on NBC’s morning news talker isn’t the only TV gig Mr. Groban has planned for this week. Lined up for Feb. 15 are appearances on “Live With Regis & Kelly,” “The Late Show With David Letterman” and a return appearance on the “Today Show.”

So far, only three dates have been announced – May 16 in Dallas at the American Airlines Arena; May 25 in Kansas City at the Sprint Center and May 28 in Moline, Ill., at the i wireless Center.
