Rammstein North American Tour

Rammstein is following up its December show at New York’s Madison Square Garden with its first North American tour in 10 years.

The German industrial metal band’s most recent North American tour took place in 2011 in support of its third studio album, Mutter.

The new dates begin May 5 at Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J. Shows are booked through a May 21 gig at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

Rammstein will bring its live show – which has been known to include pyrotechnics, flame-throwers and bazookas – to Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Ill., May 10; Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Wash., May 15; Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., May 18; and The Forum in Inglewood, Calif., May 20.

Olympiiski, Moscow, Russia

Canadian stops include Montreal’s Bell Centre May 7 and Toronto’s Air Canada Centre May 8.

“We have waited 10 long years for the perfect opportunity to bring our full show to North America,” guitarist Richard Kruspe said in a statement. “The time is now and we are excited to share this with our fans who have waited for so long.”

A presale begins Feb. 25 and 26.

Rammstein’s sixth studio album, Liebe ist für alle da (which translates to “Love Is For Everyone”) was released in 2009.
