Arcade Fire’s Victory Tour

Arcade Fire is following up its big wins at the Grammys and BRIT Awards with a bunch of new U.S. headline dates.

Last week the band’s third studio album, 2010’s The Suburbs, snagged both a Grammy for album of the year and a BRIT award for best international album.

The newly announced dates kick off April 9 at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo. New U.S. shows are booked through a May 4 appearance at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas.

Arcade Fire will also be playing Orem, Utah (April 11); Phoenix (April 13); Las Vegas (April 14); Santa Fe, N.M. (April 18); Kansas City, Mo. (April 20); Indianapolis (April 27); Memphis (April 28); Dallas (April 30); and Bee Cave, Texas (May 3).

According to the band’s website, tickets will go on sale soon.

Previously announced U.S. dates include the group’s appearances at Coachella (April 16) and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (May 6), in addition to the band’s three-night stand at UIC Pavilion in Chicago (April 22, April 24-25).

A European tour is set for June 17 through July 17. Two more U.K. gigs are planned for Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.

On July 30 Arcade Fire joins U2 at Magnetic Hill Music Festival in Moncton, New Brunswick.
