It’s All Over Now

Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood’s 24-year marriage is over and a Brit newspaper reckons it will cost him £5 million ($8 million) and half of his assets.

A decree absolute is expected to be granted in the next few days.

“I’m not sure I can say anything about what I’ve got,” his wife Jo told the Mail On Sunday. “Ronnie has got the house in Ireland and we have shared everything else. It means it is all done and dusted. I’m free and single.”

The couple is expected to divide their other assets equally, with Ronnie keeping the house in County Kildare, Ireland, where he took 20-year-old cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova in 2008, allegedly leading to the marriage breakup.

Wood, 63, has previously admitted much of his fortune has been frittered away, adding: “I’m a terrible businessman … but I do try.”

He met Jo in 1978 and they were married seven years later. They have two children.

They also raised Jo’s son Jamie, 35, from her first marriage and 33-year-old Jesse, from Wood’s first marriage.

After the couple split, Jo remained at the family’s seven-bedroom mansion in Kingston, Surrey.
