The tour is in support of LaMontagne’s latest album, God Willin’ & The Creek Don’t Rise, which was honored with the Grammy for best contemporary folk album and spawned the artist’s first radio No. 1 single, “Beg Steal or Borrow.”

LaMontagne and the band launch the summer run in Waterbury, Conn., at the Palace Theatre May 25. The itinerary also includes Bangor, Maine, at Waterfront Park May 26; Montreal at St. Denis Theatre May 28; Toronto at Massey Hall May 30 and New York City at Central Park Summerstage May 31.

Other destinations include Boston (June 1), Chicago (June 7), Cincinnati (June 12), Denver (June 17) and Boise (June 21).

Brandi Carlile appears on all dates. The Secret Sisters appear on all dates except May 27-28 when Ximena Sarinana supports.

An exclusive presale for fans who pre-order LaMontagne’s new EP, the five-song Live – Spring 2010, begins March 1 and the general onsale begins March 4 for shows in Vermont, New York, Ontario, Quebec, Idaho and Montana with the remaining concerts going up March 5.
