B.B. King’s Vegas Reorganizes

The B.B. King’s Blues Club at the Mirage hotel-casino in Las Vegas reportedly filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection Feb. 16.

Beale Street Blues Company Las Vegas LLC, parent company to the restaurant and live music club, hopes to restructure about $3.7 million in debt and other liabilities.

The Las Vegas club, which opened in 2009, reportedly brought in $8.6 million in sales last year and has generated about $1.1 million so far this year, according to the court filing.

B.B. King’s Blues Clubs in Memphis, Nashville. Orlando and West Palm Beach, Fla., are not included in the reorganization.
