Take Me Out To WE Fest

Fans in the VIP section at WE Fest will enjoy the show from the comfort of chairs that originally provided seating to baseball fans at Chicago’s Wrigley Field.

WE Fest takes place Aug. 4-6 at Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minn. The festival recently purchased more than 4,000 stadium seats from the Chicago Cubs’ home ballpark to install in the concert bowl.

“Our mission this year is to upgrade the VIP experience and the current movable plastic chairs,” said Bob Bliss, media director of WE Fest. “The new seats from famed Wrigley Field will assure attendees their exact seat while providing everyone more room to dance and pass through the rows.”

Along with move room in the rows, the flip-up style chairs will provide VIP fans with more comfort and better sightlines.

The Thursday, Aug. 4 lineup features Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, The Charlie Daniels Band, Jerrod Niemann and Lost Highway.
