More Dates For Manchester Orchestra, Cage The Elephant

If the first round of dates for the co-headline tour featuring Manchester Orchestra and Cage The Elephant didn’t mention your town, you and your stomping grounds just might get another chance with today’s addition of several new stops scheduled for May and June.

Both bands have their own dates before joining forces beginning the second week of May. Manchester Orchestra launches a string of shows April 29 when it plays Tom Lee Park in Memphis. Other dates include April 30 in Due West, S.C., at Erskine College, May 2 in Kansas City at the Beaumont Club and May 4 in Chicago at the Metro Dates for Cage The Elephant include March 31 in Cincinnati at Bogart’s, April 1 in Louisville at Headliners Music Hall and April 6 in Little Rock at the Revolution Music Room.

The Manchester Orchestra/Cage The Elephant co-headline outing launches May 8 in Baltimore at Rams Head Live, plays Boston’s House Of Blues May 10 and appears at New York City’s Terminal 5 May 11. Other new dates include May 17 in Detroit at The Fillmore, May 24 in Tampa at The Ritz, May 27 in Houston at Verizon Wireless Theatre and June 9 in Seattle at Showbox SoDo.

Manchester Orchestra will be touring in support of its upcoming new release, Simple Math, which drops May 10 on Columbia/Favorite Gentlemen Recordings. Cage The Elephant’s latest album, Thank You Happy Birthday, was released in January.

A limited number of tickets will go up in a presale scheduled for March 16 at noon local time while the general onsale begins March 18 at noon local time. For more information, check out The Manchester Orchestra and Cage The Elephant websites.
