Ibrahim Tatlises was shot in the head and might be partially paralyzed, according to Caglar Cuhadaroglu of Maslak Acibadem hospital.

Police say unknown gunmen attacked the 58-year-old Tatlises and his spokeswoman, Buket Cakici, early Monday as they left a television station in a vehicle. Cakici is in stable condition following an operation on her neck.

The motive of the attack is not clear.

Tatlises also hosts a TV show and has acted in movies.
