Yes, it’s masked wrestlers, folklorico dancers, jokes and pasties & G-strings as Lucha VaVOOM performs at Chicago’s Park West and in Los Angeles at the Mayan Theatre May 5. The L.A. gig includes a lowrider parade while Chicagoans are treated to a giant Zumba dance. Shows in both cities include strolling mariachis, a donkey photo booth and plenty of tequila provided by the folks at El Jimador.

Founded in 2003 by Rita D’Albert and Liz Fairbairn, Lucha VaVOOM is one helluva good time as it presents “good vs evil” wrestling matches wrapped in outrageous spectacle.

Tickets for the Los Angeles and Chicago shows are available via Ticketweb.com and eTix.com, respectively. Check out LuchaVaVOOM.com for more information.
