Touring in support of his T Bone Burnett-produced album No Better Than This, Mellencamp divides each show into three segments, beginning the evening with an acoustic set followed by performing with a small combo then capping the night with a full-on “Hurts So Good” assault with his complete band.

As in North America, the “support act” for Mellencamp’s first tour across the pond in 19 years is the documentary film by Kurt Markus entitled “It’s About You” that was shot during his 2009 tour of minor league ballparks with Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson.

Starting at Copenhagen’s Vega June 24, look for Mellencamp to appear in Berlin at the TempoDrom GmbH June 25; The Hague at the Forum Theatre June 26 and Dublin’s Canal Theatre June 28.

July begins in the United Kingdom with a gig at Manchester’s O2 Apollo July 1. London follows with Mellencamp playing the Hammersmith Apollo July 2 before crossing the channel for a show in Paris at Olympia July 5. Other destinations are Munich (July 6), Stuttgart (July 7), and Italian towns Vigevano (July 9), Rome (July 10) and Udine (July 11) before wrapping in Zurich at Live At Sunset July 13.

Tickets go on sale this week. Visit Mellencamp.com for more information.
