This time around Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney are creating a concert experience encompassing everything from tailgating in the venue parking lot to the show itself as the band brings the party to the people with a mobile karaoke vehicle, carnival attractions, miniature golf, contests and food vendors. This is a go early/leave late kind of thing, so you might want to block out the whole day when “Flatts Fest” comes to your town.

Presented by Live Nation and playing mostly amphitheatres, “Flatts Fest” kicks off near Washington, D.C., in Bristow, Va., at Jiffy Lube Live June 18, plays Farm Bureau Live At Virginia Beach June 19 and stops at Chicago’s First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre June 25. Other cities on the routing include Maryland Heights, Mo., near St. Louis (June 26); Camden, N.J. (July 9); Atlanta (July 28); Clarkston, Mich., near Detroit (Aug. 4); Tampa (Aug. 19); Denver (Sept. 10); San Bernardino (Sept. 17) and Chula Vista, Calif., near San Diego (Sept. 19).

Rascal Flatts will also play a few non-Flatts Fest dates, appearing at in Oshkosh, Wis., June 24; in Craven, Sask., July 17; in Twin Lakes, Wis., July 24; in Detroit Lakes, Minn., Aug. 6; Ottawa’s Rideau Carelton Raceway Aug. 13 and Burls Creek Family Event Park in Oro Station Ontario Aug. 27.

“Flatts Fest” ticket sales begin later this month in select markets. Visit the Rascal Flatts website for more information.
