Star City Preps Relaunch
The Tabcorp-owned Sydney casino Star City has set the marketing wheels in motion for the unveiling of its $860 million renovation later in the year.
It appointed the Three Drunk Monkeys agency to position it as an entertainment complex rather than a casino.
“A casino is too one-minded a conception,” said Star City managing director Sid Vaikunta. The revamp includes a 3000-seat multi-event centre, six new restaurants, a nightclub, two new bars, several boutique shops, 175 extra hotel rooms and VIP Client facilities including a private jet.
