AEG And Nederlander Buy US Bank Arena

AEG Facilities and Nederlander have announced they have purchased and jointly own U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati.

The transaction was announced by Nederlander Entertainment COO Ray Harris and AEG Facilities COO Bob Newman March 23.

The former Firstar Center was already operated by Nederlander along with Arena Management Holdings. The 17,090-capacity venue, built in 1975, hosts the Cincinnati Cyclones, professional hockey team and current ECHL Kelly Cup champions.

The U.S. Bank Arena has on its books this year acts including Bob Seger, Josh Groban and Keith Urban.

“Our partnership with AEG is just another step forward in our continuing efforts to sustain U.S. Bank Arena as the premier entertainment venue in the market,” Harris said. “The experience and resources they add are a welcome addition to an already strong internal structure. We look forward to working with them in continuing the success of U.S. Bank Arena.”
