Eddie Vedder’s Latest Solo Journey

Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder strikes out on the solo road beginning mid June on the East Coast.

Vedder’s tour is in support of his new solo album, Ukulele Songs, scheduled to be released May 30 internationally and May 31 in North America through Pearl Jam’s Monkeywrench Records. The disc has Vedder taking the title to heart by playing original songs and covers on ukulele. The first single from the album, “Longing To Belong,” was released digitally this week.

Ukulele Songs won’t be the only Vedder release landing in stores at the end of May. “Water On The Road,” a live-concert DVD featuring two stops on Vedder’s 2008 solo tour, also comes out May 31.
