Carlon Tapped At Palace Theatre

Kevin Carlon has been hired as executive director for Albany, N.Y.’s 2,500-seat Palace Theatre, the first to serve in the post since 2006.

Carlon has 25 years of experience in the industry, including his most recent stint as promoter and COO of Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Fla.

Prior to that, he oversaw construction, marketing and operational plans for the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, and marketing and operations for the Colorado Rockies baseball and Denver Grizzlies hockey teams. He has also taught sports and entertainment management at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I.
