Sam Bradley’s First Headlining Excursion
He’s the latest artist to emerge from the so-called “Brit Pack” that gave us “Twilight” movie series actor Robert Pattinson and singer-songwriter Bobby Long. Like Long, Bradley started off recording his music at home and was performing in clubs on open-mic nights when a song he co-wrote with Pattinson – “Too Far Gone” – was added to the first “Twilight” film via Pattinson’s version called “Never Think.”
Bradley begins his tour with a string of Canadian dates, playing Ottawa’s Café Dekcuf April 27; Montreal’s Savoy du Metropolis April 28; Toronto’s Drake Hotel April 30; London’s Music Hall May 2 and Saint Catharines’ Mansion House May 3.
The U.S. side of the tour opens with two nights in New York City at Joe’s Pub May 5-6 followed by a stop in Providence, R.I., at Club Hell May 7 and a show in Buffalo, N.Y., at Mohawk Place May 8. Other U.S. stops include Cleveland (May 10), Madison, Wis. (May 13): San Francisco (May 23); Los Angeles (May 26-27); Nashville (June 3); and Denver (June 11). Bradley also has a few more shows in Canada booked for May including Winnipeg (May 16); Regina (May 17); Edmonton (May 18); Calgary (May 19) and Vancouver (May 21).
Meanwhile, check out his two EPs such as his 2009 self-titled effort and the Gavin Brown-produced Zuni released in November 2010. For more Sam Bradley info, click here for the artist’s website.
