The Daily Mail reported that the 65-year-old musician was rushed to the hospital after becoming ill at his home on Tuesday.

The British paper said that there was initially concern that Ferry had suffered a heart attack. A spokesman dispelled these rumors, telling the Daily Mail that Ferry had been “feeling unwell” and that the tests were simply a precautionary measure.

Ferry was forced to cancel an appearance for SportAccord at London’s 02 Arena on Tuesday.

The singer’s solo tour begins April 19 at Frederic R. Mann Auditorium in Tel Aviv, Israel. European dates are scheduled April 22 through Aug. 1.
