Shooting Near Palladium

An off-duty Los Angeles police officer was involved in a shooting outside the Hollywood Palladium after working security at a concert at the venue.

The officer and another off-duty police officer were leaving the concert by A Day to Remember when the incident occurred, according to a LAPD spokesman.

The altercation took place approximately 10 p.m. April 6, reportedly on El Centro Ave., north of Sunset Boulevard. The officer was stabbed in the hand during a parking lot scuffle. The officer then shot the attacker.

The officer and the suspect were reportedly treated at a hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
